Love Games - top tune

Was down in Devon recently and a yoot put it on a pub jukebox

Roll back the years to Mr King on bass, all wedged up blonde barnets and playing up with the lads - happy days

Starchild is worth a listen too

Re: Level 42
love them crassus, live album 'a physical presence' featuring their early stuff is superb. Mark King was on that Pointless quiz show earlier, won the jackpot with the dj Maconie

Re: Level 42
Tedious musos.

Mark King undoubtedly talented but really show off wanky boring bass solos.

Not a patch on Larry Graham or Flea. Much more fun to listen to.

Picks

That's the idea mate, splendid sound that

Lads up in Newcastle uni, Mrs C and I visit, found a brilliant bar/club place. Classy gaffe, great music, age spread from late 20's to Christ knows but all well dressed and very calm, to coin my lads phrase.

Play Old Skool tunes with a jazz sax or flute playing live over, got to know one of the DJ's well too

Nu Shooz and the live sax sent us back a 3 deacdes
